How to Research Keywords for your website?

To know about keywords research, at first we have to understand what is keywords? It is an easy answer. Because the name provides answer. KEY mean Main and Words means words. So Keywords mean the main word of the name of your website or the words about your wesite. For example, we can say the name of my blog. The main two keyword of my site is FREELANCER and SOLUTION. So, the keywords of my site may be Freelancing, outsourcing, online earning etc.

  Why Keyword Research?

 Keywords are the main word which people use to search anything in the internet. So, you need to know that words people use to search the contents that your website contains. Most of the visitor will come from Search Engines. So, you have to select keywords for your website. I think the first work for the person who wants to make a website is to select domain name using keyword. I mean your website must contain the main keyword/s.

How to research keywords?

There are many keyword research tools in the internet. To find keyword research tool, I have gone to Google and just type "keyword research tool" and it shows billions of results. we have to understand that all visitors never visit all the searched results. So, people must visit first page, they may visit second and third page. So, you need to try bringing first result page of your web page. See the screen shot.

 Google Shows the first result is AdWords and we go to AdWords and sign in with Google Account for keyword research. Also other tools will help you to find out your desire keywords. You need to know that we will use "long tail" keywords. If your keyword is "download", we can use , free music download, or free apps download depends on your website.

So, type your desire keywords in AdWords and search them. AdWord will show you result of  how much people search it monthly and Advertiser pay per keyword.  You need to Select those Keywords which value is less but search is more.

Go to Adwords and click on Search for new keyword and ad group ideas

And you will get a box to type keyword. I types "Android Apps"  and then click on get ideas. See below:

 

Then you will get a page with result. Now select Keyword Ideas See below:

It shows money result. But only this page, I have choosen the keyword "Android apps free download"

Because its monthly search is 40,500 and competition is low.
